I bought a new computer and it didnt come with a windows xp cd. I was wonderin how i would obtain one or could i make one?

now all my media trys to open and fails to opens with this instead of my windows media player? what can i do to get media player back as my preferred player? and should i delet winamp?

i've tried all that i know, i cant make the header appear on only one page. if i deleted the header on the second or third page, all it does is delete the main header. i just want the header on the first page only.

I would like to know if there is a way other users from the same comuter can access my files if I am not the administrator and how to prevent that, if the answer is yes? Can I have password on select files that the administrator don't know and how to do that? Thank you in advance!

i down loaded morpheus ultra but it keeps crashing once i double click it, i even took off my firewall and removed the virus scan but the problem keeps persisting. I don't know what else to do i am not brillant with computers. Any help will be appreciated

help i went on monitour and then to show incoming searches ...and allll these peopel started coming up and some were downlaoding things at the bottom and i could chat to some of them...so does that mean they are downloading from me!!! and this list of incoming seaches are peopel who are goign through my files!! ahh help meh!! lmao please!! thanks

Aslo if the people are downlaoding stuff are red...does that mean they blocked me??

i have quite mant movies in my hard disk (avi format) with their subs (srt format). i need a software to burn them on a dvd that it will can play in a dvd player (apart from nero that doesn't back up subtitles)

If I'm playing music, I can still hear it, yet I cannot do anything. The screen goes completely black and I have to manually restart the system to get back on Windows. Sometimes it will happen every hour or so...other times it will happen ever minute. Why would this happen? I've run AVG and there are no viruses on the system (anymore).

lets say my drive c is 20gb and my drive d is 20gb too...but i wan make my drive c to 30 and drive d to 10....is this call partition?if it is i use DiskDirectorSuite be4 but need to register...can u teach me how to use it without register?

when a new page of a word doc is opened, I see 4 markings on the 4 corners of the page.
These may be the ends of print area, I mean indentation area.
These markings are disturbing me. I want to remove those markings. Please help.

the way im typing this is by pressing ctrl alt del and them clicking run and then browse then internet explorer.

ps. does any1 know how i can get to the recylcle bin when typing it in "run" or in dos mode, im searching for viruses now and ive tried restoring and restarting. please help thanx

My c drive crashed n killed windows but i got my d drive with all my games and stuff on it how do i get all of the stuff i origionaly had like shortcuts to games and all that stuff on my start menu again like how it was before windows crashed because i tried 2 install a expansion for sims 2 but it says its not installed meanwhile i can still play sims 2?

I know how to burn CD's but I just don't have a clue how to Burn DVD's. I downloaded a few movies off of LimeWire and they are all MPG. And I have a blank DVDr disc's. I heard that DVDr's don't play in most DVD players...so is that why it is so difficult to do so?? I need some help in this subject..please?

I have a windows xp home cd and it only lets you put it on one computer, and you have to buy a key for the rest. What about Windows XP Pro? Can you install it on any number of computers without having to worry about getting differnet keys? Thanks
