...since we already have an AS400 accounting system. But similar style/functionality of Quickbooks payroll module would be great. Needs to be able to handle employees that are paid hourly plus monthly/quarterly bonus and/or commission. Thanks.

There are outstanding softwares found on internet, which are extremely helpful, and have been downloaded millions of times. But they are totally free of cost. What is the objective of the software makers behind this when they make such softwares ang give it free? I mean, how do they make money by making free products?

it must be absolutly a free full version not 1 that is a demo and doesn't even convert the whole video or has it's slogan in the middle of the video. THANK U SO MUCH! dont forget it has to be FREE! i am very poor!!!

I've Office 2000 and when I open Word 2000 I have text shown were the page should open blank. I've deleted the text XXX times, tried to change its save name, and done a repair to the Word program and I can't get the program to open on a blank page. I'll be grateful and thank anyone who can help this silver surfer

I have some short films that I downloaded that are mpeg files and I want to burn them onto a DVD. I have tried NERO and that doesnt work....It says its re-encoding and burning but then the disc is blank......anyone know a program to use or how to format these the way they need to be to burn em? Or what format they need to be in??????????????????????????????

My computer is infected with Trojan spyware. I had deleted the infected files using Webroot and Grisoft spyware remover several times. But, the virus keep on installing itself again and again. As such, my computer performance slowed down and does not function properly. Please give some tips how should I address this problem.

My computer got a trojan on it, so I was re-installing windows XP. I'm using a disk that I got through my campus, so it's a volume licensing edition.

The computer crashed twice while I was trying to install. The 2nd crash (the computer just shut off) came right at the end of the install, so I'm not sure if it installed all the way or not.

But now when I reboot, it does ask for the windows login (Administrator and no password seem to be the only option it will take), but once I enter that, it crashes...giving me error code 0X80004005 and saying it can't validate the registration key.

NOW...the other problem is that I can't get my machine to "boot from the CD drive". It says to press any key...and I've tried every key...holding down the key, pressing a key multiple times...but it just doesn't go to the CD drive.

Any help?

My pc which HP model 780 - I axactly don't know. It is behaving so shy of me that sometimes it will stop working altogather. I tried disk def., disk cleanup, tried removing and cleaning recycle bin to emply, but no it is not showing any kindness to me. Is there any thing else which I can do to make it more rewarding for me? Thanks.

I mainly use After Effects program but also use Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, DVD Studio Pro, etc. And I'm also trying to get into 3D program like 3D Max. I was gonna buy 24-inch iMac(2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor), but then some people told me most of 3D artists use PC, not Mac and that pc is so much better with 3D programs. Is that true? if I possibly wanna run 3D program in near future, should I get pc instead? I have no idea about pc computer and not so much familiar with technical terms either.

Would anyone recommend the good computer to run graphic programs, possibly with detail information about graphics card, speed, etc?
