I want to take digital photograph images and turn them either to comic strip or single frame cartoon images. i.e. turning photographs to graphic images. Is there software to do this that won't cost two limbs and won't have my PC having fleepies? Any help, any suggestions will be most welcome.

Get Irfanview then search the web for photoshop filters, I know there are a few that do that http://www.irfanview.com
also Picasa might help:

both free, so both worth a go

There is a great FREE photo software available here

It is not a trial...but full working software and probably one of the best around at the moment!

Adobe Photoshop..if your naughty you can download a free version using Limewire..I am not advocating this in any way..usually you can get a light version with a scanner or printer..which works just as well...x

There's a great one called Comic Life (for the MAC OS).

If you have access to one it's extremely easy to use.
