i have quite mant movies in my hard disk (avi format) with their subs (srt format). i need a software to burn them on a dvd that it will can play in a dvd player (apart from nero that doesn't back up subtitles)

ConvertXtoDVD can convert (and burn) any video file onto DVD. and it supports addition of subtitles too.
heres what you should do:

1. Download ConvertXtoDVD from http://www.burner-software.com/AVI-to-DVD-Converter/Convert-AVI-Divx-MPEG-to-DVD.html

2. Add or drag-n-drop your videos / subtitle files

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Click Convert

It will convert your video files to a dvd format readable by your dvd player, then burn automatically to DVD.

you can use Daemon tools (super symple) or Alcohol120
