i accidently downloaded winamp 5.1?

Question

now all my media trys to open and fails to opens with this instead of my windows media player? what can i do to get media player back as my preferred player? and should i delet winamp?

2. On the Formats tab, under Available File Formats, click Select All to select all of the file formats listed (or you can click to select each individual check box).
3. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Open wind. media player
click TOOLS
select OPTIONS... a window opens
On the upper part of that window find and click on FILE TYPES
Click SELECT ALL
click APPLY
and click OK
you're all set

Removeing other program is your choice

start menu click control panel add remove programs then click on winamp and uninstall . then enjoy your usual friendly media player
