Primary goals are:
1. They should be effective for PC
2. They should not slow down my PC / Should consume (combining all software) less amount of RAM
3. If possible it should be free

Please recommend me which satisfies above conditions.

I cannot use the cmd, msconfig commands, and I am not able to ping anything. It keeps telling me that this is not a win32 application. I searched this error, and it tells me that those are symptoms of the alcan.a virus. I have Norton 360, and a scan shows that my system is clean. I dont know what to do. I am running windows XP home edition. Any suggestions?

Has anyone heard of this new Virus protection called 'Blink'? Apparently, it has only been out for a few weeks and I'm trying to find out just how good it is. It is free for one year with a small fee from then on and it's downloadable.

A few weeks ago, i accidently downloaded a virus onto my computer. I've been running AVG, Spybot, Ad-Aware and Norton and none of them have got rid of it.
Everytime i run them they find the same ones everytime and delete them but they keep coming back. It's making my computer really slow at starting up and keeps making pop-ups appear when i'm on Internet Explorer. If it helps, these are what AVG keeps finding: hfrlcgui.exe, rgtwnapu.dll and lwqgapgy.exe. Thanks.
