What is recommended??? Single PC Security suite or separate security softwares???

Question

Primary goals are:
1. They should be effective for PC
2. They should not slow down my PC / Should consume (combining all software) less amount of RAM
3. If possible it should be free

Please recommend me which satisfies above conditions.

DON'T DEPEND ON SECURITY SOFTWARES...........
USE MANUAL METHODS.. which increase u r knoledge about security and....can solve problem better than Installed Software......

1) To Get Rid Of Trojans : ( Dont Use any software...)

u can manually get the ports which r open.. using free software.. TCPView... and then by finding which ports r open u can also find which applications running on which ports...
and by u can find Suspecious open ports which may be of trojans.... u can get list of trojans and their ports.. just google it... This is how u can get rid of trojans.....and u can manually remove them....
i Think.... there is noo need to instal trojan softwarre.. which take u r RAM... andd all those....so go for manuall problem solving..

2) Get rid Of Viruses : -
Whenever u visit any internet website... and download the softawares ... check the extensionss of downloaded files...
if they r suspecious like... vb.exe something like tat ... then such files r viruses....
soo be aware of extensionss.... of files...
Avoid clicking suspecios files....
and installl some good antivirus software like... Kaspersky..


3) Get Rid Of Spywares :-

i thinkk if u take precaution from begining then there is no need to install Spyware software alsoo...

just avoid visiting untrusted sites......always block Popupss.
also disable JAVA script in Browser.. for better security...
coz many virus scripts get installed.. if its ON..

soo thiss spyware problem also u can solve manuallyy...

4) u can use CCleaner software to clean u r Temprary files and all.. i think its the bestt ... and free too..

5) install firewall like OUTPOst , Zonealarm, i think they r good...

and if u have zonealarm , kaspersky, installed on pc at a time.. thn there is no way.. u r pc get hang.. so dont worry..
i am using it..like this...

SO,, now.. i think u dont need to install each and every security software.....u can do the same Without software ..

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

avg 7.5 for or anti virus shield (a.k.a. avs) antivirus
zone alarm for firewall
spyware terminator or spybot s & d for anti - sypware

all those above stuff are free and had a high ranking in their respective fields

(avg got top 3 or 4, zone alarm got top 1, avs got top 1, spyware terminator....forgot the ranking, spybot... simply one of the best ask fellow technicians)
