hi guys... i've got two accounts to login into ma system... one is the administrator and other is limited... both are password protected... but the system does not show the welcome screen neither asks for the password but automatically logins to the administrator account... how do i rectify this??? please do help me... i have win XP SP2

Every time i turn on my computer, I get an error message about encountering a problem with "update.exe" and asks me if it sends a message to microsoft...no matter what i do it always comes up...i also get annoying pop ups like that telling me "please insert the sony vaio recovery disk"...and another when i open microsoft word saying "cannot process command, dialog box open" but theres no other box except that same dialog box! once i close it, it takes me to WORD....im thinking of a virus scan that told me there was one virus it couldnt get rid of...any advice and/or free virus software i can download online or something?

And my comp has just recently been bombarded with the most annoying spyware... everytime I run AdAware it finds 13 objects... I quarantine them... restart.... it's still there, I run AdAware again... 13 objects. How do I fix this? It's so annoying...

On my laptop I'm trying to get rid of all this spyware that keeps slowing my internet down and whenever I download some spyware deletion progams it scans it for free then it says that I have to purchase it in order to clean all the spyware out...Is there a way that I can still get rid of all the spyware on my computer without having to register or make a purchase????

I know there is no way I used that much bandwidth. Can you tell me what do you think caused this. I think maybe there is either a trojan or a root kit on one of my computers. I have had my computer serviced for virus detection and removal etc. twice since April 2nd and the most recent time end of last week (first week in June). I use a very reputable computer company that computer maintence is all they do. I am still having strange things happening with my computer like the question I submitted today and yesterday. I sign in to Yahoo many times a day, including today, (signed in today and least 3 times) and all of a sudden the security cert. warning and information bar pops up. I closed back out and came back in thinking it was just a fluk. The computer did this over and over. Why?
