I need help getting around a firewall at my school to get to myspace, yahoo mail and google mail but I dont know how. Our firewall is Smartfilter (Bess Edition) if it helps so please, HELP ME!!!!!

PS, end of the year, leaving the school, FOREVER, dont really care about if they punish me and they cant track you because i have checked some of their databases. I just want a nice proxy that can work, i tryed gulfproxy but I think that I did that wrong.

Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and personal e-mail and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators reading your personal e-mail and knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

you don't. Unless you can shutdown the firewall you can't. More than likely they are blocking those sites so they keep you doing your school work and keep viruses off their system.
Plus if they are smart enough to block websites, its more than likely they know what websites you visit. As soon as you try those sites or fiugre out a way around it, they will know. Is myspace and personal email worth getting expelled over? Can't it wait until you get home?

Become and expert hacker and turn it off. Not really thats dangerous and you could get banned from school. Just wait until you get home to do the myspace thing.

If it is blocked and you access it (even through a proxy site) you will probably get suspended or expelled because you violated the Internet Usage Agreement you agreed to before you even began using the Internet there. I highly suggest just waiting until you get home to access those sites.

Run an SSH server on your computer at home.
Use an SSH client on your computer at work to create a secure tunnel between your home and work computers.
Enable Dynamic Forwarding in the SSH client to simulate a SOCKS Proxy.
Configure Internet Explorer to use a SOCKS Proxy for network traffic instead of connecting directly.

Perhaps you should worry about getting your school work done, your MySpace friends won't be there to help you when you don't have a HS Diploma.
BTW the answer to your question is you cant, its programmed into the ACL (Access Control List) setting, and unless you can administer that program you won't be going anywhere...

Devote your time to excelling in school thru your graduation date. Why would you want to set a presedence? Are you trying to do this to win friends or win a bet, or impress a boy?

Install LogmeIn on your home PC and then use the logmein website to remote control your home PC and surf using that.
