You could password protect some applications with some downloadable programs over there, but there are several chances in order to prevent someone getting into the internet, without forgetting the facts that a few things must be taken care of before attempting a executable lock. For example, if you use Internet Explorer which comes bundled with the Windows systems and try to lock it with a third party application, other programs depending on it might work wrong or definitely won't work at all. A useful and widespread recommendation is to use an independent browser like Firefox, so it's lockable and won't interfere with other components. Other useful tip is to own and set a personal account in your operating system, from which you may not have others using it or changing your preferences. Make up your mind with some tech advise.

i kno how to do this but i only kno how to do it wit mozilla firefox. its the exact same thing as internet explorer but its way better. u can get it here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ once u get that go to tools, then options.then click on the security tab. theres going to be a section called passwords. all u gotta do is check off the box next to "use a master password" and its gonna ask u to type in a password. DO NOT forget the password cuz ure the only one who is going to kno it. let me kno if u need nemore assistance. (peruano4_evr@hotmail.com)
