My sister always comes in my room to use my computer to go to sites such as Club Penguin, or webkinz. I need some software that will just let me block web pages.

There are two sites which has been bothering me for many days .I have blocked the pop-ups but still those sites gets open itself.

my friend received a msg form a friend to visit a certain site.. it turned out, it was a porn site which i believe was a spam..

the problem is, when my friend is online and in invisible mode, it automatically goes visible and sends a message to everyone, just like the message she received..

its embarassing and annoying.. its a porn site.. what can be done? pls help..

I used system restore to go back to 1st january but when i open my com again, it said it could not restore to that date. i've tried many times but get the same answers...

My computer wont let me update or change any of the windows 2000 system files, says i don't have permission to do so and that i should log in as the administrator. well i am the administrator.

I am trying to get past a password undetected on the laptop. So far, I tried the advice I could find previously at Y.A. and have gotten to F8 screen choices from Safe Modes, Reboot, Return to OS Choices Menu, etc. Where do I go from here to monitor this computer from a distance without corrupting any current files or settings?

It freezes everytime it detects 2 critical objects, havent scanned in a while now....pc-clean and arovax wont detect anything besides cookies which arent critical, macafee virusscan wont detect anything either...help?

Yes, I'm looking for a good one. Mcafee doesn't yet support it, and Norton either. I tried Panda Antivirus and it doesn't. I know that x64 edition wasn't widely considered an OS that many wanted to make complete protection for.. but I want to protect what I have, anyone having luck finding one just as good as these other companies that work on x64 Editions?

Norton antivirus wrkd perfect b4.but i installed Vista,then it says its not combatible now.wot a load o crap,tried downloading an update from from symnatec too,to no avail.should i install the norton Cd in again.?the norton is not that old,its a Vista rip off i think

I have been using Avest for about a year. But the problem is that it deletes the infected files instead of cleaning them. I need something that can work like norton, clean the files , not just /detect/delete, but is free to download. and free upgrades too

I wanted to delete some cookies. I heard they can be used to hack your computer. My son says that if I delete them it may take important stuff out with them.

if it is safe to delete them if you are computer illiterate,
