why can't i system restore my computer?

I used system restore to go back to 1st january but when i open my com again, it said it could not restore to that date. i've tried many times but get the same answers...

Hmm. Maybe your copy of Windows has become corrupt? Something like this happened to me a while back, and the technician suggested I just go ahead and unistall and reinstall windows.

Check to see if the date on the task bar is correct.

so pick another date from the marked ones or create another one
