My Norton ran out and my computer now has some sort of virus. I downloaded the Micro Trend virus scan and it scanned my comptuer all day. I have run it at least 4 times. Everytime I run it it finds something and I delete it. After it deletes it says that it is recommended that since something was found, that I rerun the scan. It just keeps finding different things. Should I keep running it? Why isn't it finding everything the first time? Is there something else better for me to use? I can't go get another Norton until after New Year's and this virus is causing crazy pop ups and I'm pretty sure it's recording my keystrokes which makes me nervous. Any thoughts? Help!!

After watcing a recent "The Real Hustle's" episode, I wonder how exactly is it for them to do what they did.

They used someone's else's unsecured wireless network by having their laptop within its range. I myself use the similar unsecured wireless network myself & allow my nephew to use my wireless network to browse Internet (who only lives 3 houses next to me).

Now, in "The Real Hustle", they showed that it wasn't JUST possible to use someone else's bandwidth & browse Internet on their own laptop, but ALSO were able to see exactly the website other person is browsing at that very moment & could see this other person's mouse movement & keyboard stroke, etc. ....... LIVE.

How exactly could this be possible, since so far, my understanding was that me allowing my nephew to use my bandwidth could ONLY be used by him to browse the Internet but NOT to see my "LIVE browsing".

Could anyone enlighten me further towards it ???

I've used Norton for a couple of years, then my computer died so I got a new one. It came with 3 months of Bullguard installed - I'd never heard of it before so don't know how reliable it is. Should I go back to Norton or stick with Bullguard? Or is there a better one out there? Thanks.

AOL is not my Internet provider, but I recently created an AOL e-mail account. But now I can't remember the password. So I clicked "I forgot my password" entered my screen name and the security code thing. Then it leads me to a page with my security question, which I answer. At this point, I think everything is correct. But then it asks to enter the "Billing Contact Name." I'm not sure what this is, or what it means. I entered my name and other names I could have possibly put down, but every time I click "Next" it just takes me back to the beginning, with entering my screen name and security code. This is sooo frusterating! What do I do!? What is "Billing Contact Name"!??!

I'd like to try the free Antivirus by Avast mainly because I've read so many good reviews about it. I have Norton Internet Security installed currently in my PC. I've read that 2 antivirus programs are bound to conflict w/ each other. Should I uninstall completely my Norton or can I just temporarily disable it while I download the free Avast?
