i am going to buy one antiviru, one good firewall and one antispyware.. i dont wanna go with security suites as they cant be very good. so plz suggest 3 products thats worth buying.. i need the best firewall money can buy (for home pc)

for antivirus- bitdefender or nod32(nod32 is onl for advanced users) u can also go for f-secure its solid

I wouldn't buy one at all. AVG antivirus is free and works about as well as any of the commercial ones.
For a good firewall there is Zone Alarm Free. It is ranked first or second depending on which columnist writes the review.
Finally, you can't beat Ad-Aware for spyware, but get Spybot S&D too. That way, if AA misses one, Spybot is likely to get it.
Just Google them to get to the download sites.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Look up AVG Free online on download.com. A guy that works on my computer said that its the best around and it works better than Norton Anti-virus by far. I have it on my computer and its worked better for me than any other program I've used.
