If you are online, you can be hacked. It has little to do with sending a picture.
When you send a picture, you say, "here I am" and then make yourself a little more known. If there is a hack for whatever program you send a picture with, sure, you can get hacked.

It is possible but not easy for someone without hacking knowledge. You can use a little program called IMSecure to make it harder to hack your PC through instant messengers, installing a firewall will make it even harder (but never impossible, clever hackers always find a way around them).

Yep. It's very possible. You should get AVG Virus detector. The hacker could send a jpg virus or trojan.....and you probably shouldn't put bank info on your computer.

sending images are okay. your computer can be compromised if you receive a picture because the person sending it can use a script in the image that will run on your computer when you view the image.

hackers find all information. think about how they can hack an account. find the persons pass word and wipe out everything.

it certianly is possibel as is pssibel to embed viruses and trojans in the picture which allows a hacker to take control over your pc
