I have several times filled out form for a new password (forgotten password) and it never comes to my E-mail-why? How can I get Yahoo to send one?

Yesterday I saw a really interesting page on a website, and now I can't remember where it was, and I didn't bookmark it. It was a link posted on YA, but the post was deleted and now I can't remember the user name either.

Besides telling me I'm a fricken idiot (I know, I know), is there a way for me to bring up a history for the past 24 hours and search for it that way?

I have 2 computers and I need virus protection on both, so will Norton 2007 tell me that I CAN'T install it on the 2nd computer, if I have it installed & activated on the other computer? When I bought Norton AntiVirus 2006 last year, it let me activate it about 5 times total, before telling me that I've used up all the times I'm permitted to activate those particular serial numbers. Is version 2007 the same -- can I install & activate the serial numbers more than once like on version 2006? It's $40, so I don't feel like spending $80 just to install the same software on two home computers.

I was trying to access part of the Saw 3 website, and Age Gate requested my info. Apparently my information doesn't match info provided by a government issued ID or I am not 17 years old. It's Crap! I'm 23, and now I am seriously pissed off! I want to know who to talk to about this as there was no contact info for the movie, and I couldn't find any info about the software company either. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

I have deleted it every time and they come right back, so i got the shredder thing to get rid of the coolwebsearch, but it didnt work. Where am I getting this at and why cant it be deleted. Does anybody know how to get rid of them permanently?

I'm using AVG -free version. the file that it pulls up says:

winnt\system32CsdDriver.
sysTrojanhorsePSW.
Generic2.ODU

Whats strange is this started happening after I tried to download a windows intaller v 3.1 can anyone confirm the file above as a virus I'm not sure. I think it maybe a protected windows file that my antivirus can't delete.

and since then instead of my status message i see messages like " new pics on www.thecoolpics ", "never open messages from www.thecoolpics....", "new vacantion pics at www.thecool pics "" .Also the persons on my list said to me that i send them those messages, but i didnt.

we keep receiving emails in our companies inbox saying that a message was not able to be delivered. When we open up the message it appears as though the emails originate from our websites email but they are not being sent by us. I have been told this is called email harvesting? For example when we send out an email it would be from bobsmith@anycompany.com and when we get the failure notices they are from weird origins like wxlgpks7@anycompany.com and the email bodies contain things like stock information and motgage rates, things that have nothing to do with our company and definately did not come from us. Any idea on how to prevent more people from doing this in the future or how to stop the people that are already doing it? thanks.

I have a Mcaffee internet security, on my computer, but I am now due to change over to Norton internet security.
I have used the add and remove (incontrol panel) But it has not completely removed all Mcaffee.

Does anyone know how to completely remove Mcaffee out of the way, so that it does not interfere with Norton that I am due to install?

I'm very wary about giving out my credit card details online, so always look for the secure padlock sign (bottom right corner) when I do. I recently went to sign-up with itunes, but noticed that on the credit card page there's no padlock sign, or even a dialogue box telling you I'm connecting to a secure server. Just how secure is itunes with your cc details when giving them? And even if it is an ecrypted/secure page, why doesn't the padlock symbol some up?

HELP Administrator account deleted, need help loggin in to my laptop!!! WIN XP PRO Service Pack 2?
My friend was using my laptop and she says she has no idea what she did but she somehow deleted my account (the only account) so now i can only login as a guest andI have no access to my music pictures. programs, homework nothing, and I have a Toshiba Portege' laptop, it has no floppy disk or cd drive no internet connection, so i have no idea how to fix this, I tried the ctrl+alt+del trick but it will not work the default admin, has a password and i have no idea what it is, I got this laptop used out of a classified ad, and have no way of contacting the person who sold it to me, Someone has to be able to help me please, I am pretty good with command prompt and regedit but since i can only logon as "GUEST" nothing will work, almost everything i try says access denied ERROR 5. please please help.

I TRIED THE CTRL+ALT+DEL thing already, it will not work, plus i do not have any disk drive so that i can use any of those software things, and also i cannot reinstall, there has to be another wat. someone please help

These are the features.
1. Default homepage - although my ISP is set as default a click on the Home icon takes me to http://safeiepage.com/ and a warning about W32.Myzor.FK@yf pops up (with the purpose of encouraging me to downlaod their products).
2. I have a new toolbar, entitled "Protection bar" which will not be hidden.
3. A small icon on the bottom right keeps warning of a "Critical System Error!" regarding spyware.
4. My McAfee Internet Security Suite does not detect any infection.

This happened because stupidly I allowed a download, which McAfee had tried to prevent. Is there a simple way to remove all this, or is it recommended that I reload everything? If I do have to reload, then is there a bets way to do it (e.g. do I uninstall programmes first)?
