AOL is now free except for dial up and they have GREAT security software. Also CCleaner is a good cleaner for cookies etc.------You do not need to have Aol as your primary ISP to use it. My Isp is a Cable company and I use it.

ZoneAlarm has a free version that works great as a firewall, but it might be hard to use for newbies. I love it though.

Some might see the balloon questions as a nuisance, but its a feature.
