Get your Solaris boot CD and put it into the CD on the server.
Bring the server down to the Open Boot Prom.
Boot the server in single user mode to the CD (boot cdrom -s).
Mount the disk to /a (mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /a).
Change to the etc directory under a (cd /a/etc).
Edit the shadow password file (vi shadow).
Remove the garbage in the second field (colon delimited).
Save the file (:wq!).
Unmount the disk to flush the cache and write changes (umount /a).
Reboot the system (boot).

You should be able to log in as root. Don't forget to change your password after you log in (passwd).
