Everytime I click on Microsoft Word on my Desktop I get a windows installer box come up saying 'Prepairing to install' after a few seconds I get another box come up entitled 'Problem with shortcut' and an error message that says ' This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package' I've tried to re-install the software but nothing seems to work. Any advice ? I really need to get this problem sorted out soon.

After downloaded some files, i got a virusscan, the type is Troy, and the test result is generic downloader.s.
how can i erase it?

We have 2 computers that are networked. Using comcast internet service. My younger son shares a computer w/me, the older one has his own. While I was looking at email pictures, I clicked the forward button and was surprised to find all of the other pictures that were sent to me in the past could be accessed with a click of this button - then I found these naked women doing all sorts of things w/naked men. My first thought is that it must be the son that shares the computer, but is it possible that it is the other son because we are networked? And if I send a picture, is it possible the porn pictures will be sent along with my gardening pictures? If I delete the porn by putting it in the on screen trash can, are they gone forever, or is there another step in the process?

i open a micosoft word document the other day and suddenly the file duplicated with a similar name just that it has $$ sign in its 1st alphabet... and previously the file stays when i close the program but now the new duplicated file disappear as well when i close the program. plz help... what do u suggest?

When this account was originally opened up, my son opened it for me and it has been over 7 years ago. Every time I try to get a temporary password it tells me that my profile information doesn't match. (example: pet name). I have entered every pet name I have ever had.

Im trying stopzilla spyware protection, but of course it only removes spyware if u register and pay for the service, but im not gonna even pay for that. However, im just tryin it out to see how it works. I just wonder if its any good, and if its spyware in itself, casue some spyware removers are spyware too.

I'm having trouble with my computer. Its been running slow. I did a spyware scan and nothing came up. Then i did a virus scan and everytime the scan reaches c:\windows\drivercache\i386\drivercab it freezes the virus scan and the computer. I don't know what to do. Please help. Thank you
