Sometimes they "eat" your card.

They run out of cash.

The instructions aren't always easy to understand for some people.

There are charges to use some of them.

1 problem that I have had is there is one machine that no matter what I do,it will not read my card. I turn it every different direction and it still won't read it! I can go to another place and it will scan just fine. Unfortunately the machine that won't read my card is at our bank.

Something I suggest is that all ATM's be the same. Very frustrating trying to figure out which way this machine wants you to put your card in.
