my school friends on there computers they use avira antivirus. i am thinking about using it. because of the fact it only takes up 10MB but i wanted to ask yall if yall have ever heard of this program. and how good it is.

by putting *MY* email address in the "from" space? I want them to stop sending them, but if I report this as spam, it comes home to roost with me, because of their wicked scheme. I just want to find out who is doing this and get them in really bad trouble.

I was happily typing an email when my screen went blank and there was large orange lettering saying
'It is now safe to turn off your computer'
I have never encountered this before.
I am in the process of doing a full system scan.
Has anyone else encounter this?

ps I turned off my computer and restarted it.

my email disppears as well as getting porn in the email when i don't have anything to do with it. i expect my teenage brothers are involved and no matter what we do they seem to ge able to get into my stuff and their stuff causes me to have to the nasty emails. I need to know how to prevent them even getting on my desktop if possible.

Someone was saying that you never know who's spying your email even at home. I know they can spy on the job, but I didn't know that there was a way that we can tell if someone on another computer is spying your email.

I have tried Active X before and it was a nightmare.
All I want to do is to get MSN Updates (automatic).
Is there anyway that I won't have to intall it and still get some good honest updates?
My 'puter is ok.....so far. But, these little things that are popping up telling me that some of my security is no longer available unless I subscribe.
Anybody......got any ideas?

Someone gave me this number to call them. And I think they are scamming. Does anyone know how to check the number to see if it is a single line or part of a phone bank.

It freezes up but it still lets me do other thing. I typed the question while it was frozen. It stays like that for 20 seconds then it goes back to normal. My computer overall has been going slow. Ive scanned it with Bazooka, McAffe, hi jack this, Ad Aware and othing was found.

I use Norton's Anti-Virus and also the Spyware Doctor. Both scans come up clean but my computer locks up often and seems to be running all the time. By running i mean like its processing or something. Takes forever to download and it's driving me insane.
Any ideas?

On three occassions I've gotten messages that an email has been returned because it is undeliverable. The content is spam which I have never sent and would never send since I HATE SPAM. How can people access my Yahoo email account with out my knowing it? I have AVG firewall and Anti Virus and use Yahoo Anti Spy. I have written to Yahoo Customer Service, but have not been answered. Hmmm..... I would hate to think that my name and account is being used this way. What can I do to make sure this is stopped?

ok so 4 out of 5 people say that stuff you download from limewire
might not be so safe...but if i have an antivirus and i scan all the files before opening it it should be ok right?even if i download a virus by accident will i be safe if i dont open a file?hey anybody know how i create a virus...if you can answer both these questions fast i will choose you as my best answer!!!!
