i have up to date mcafee security but each time i remove the virus it appears again

Mcafee sucks. Get AVG anti-virus and spybot search and destroy.

We the surfers of cyber world meet with so many people every day. Surfing the net is the best pastime one can ever develop, as internet has the most knowledge, a surfer will never have to wait for a answer. The vast knowledge of cyber world is nothing as compared to the cyber society that it gives. Internet is a community but so vast that we need a place to make conversation easy. I was actually looking for a place where we can find all these things with a profile and photo brouse option. Finally I got this site, this place is a very nice community where we can share every thing online. And also about the leader board, I must tell it is great. The thought of the leader board is unique, as not to many people has thought about this thing. And the method of getting the leader is very different and one must check out this site once. The cyber culture is growing, and it is about time that we find our club and that to a very different club, which is not a part of any big website house like the yahoo and google. This site am talking about has every thing that a cyber surfer ever wants. That folder you mentioned is the location that Windows stores the automated system recovery data... and the scanner is informing you that it detects the file there but it is unable to clean it due to the way windows stores things in that folder. If you are certain the virus exists nowhere else, then you can temporarily turn off the system recovery features which should erase that folder and eliminate the virus, then you can turn it back on.
It probably got there while you were infected at some point and windows made an automated backup to that folder.
Also I had trouble with Mcaffee also and had to switch, been using avast from www.avast.com for a while... it works great!

Yes, its probably replacing itself from files in System Restore. Try turning that off while you clean your system. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
You could also try running your software in Safe Mode. Make sure you have an anti trojan, Ewido is an excellent free one. If you like it after the months trial you can pay, otherwise it reverts to the cut down version.
To get into Safe Mode, reboot; after the bios screen (black with white writing) repeatedly press F8.
You'll know if you managed it, because the screen will be at 800 x 600, your pc will run slow and not all your programs will load.

hi, some virus is very hard to remove. then come to your computer when you visit some unsafe site. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

The virus is in system restore, that's why the last part of the path reads restore - turn off system restore - run virus program - it should now be clean - turn off computer - restart & turn system restore back on.

better use spyware doctor to detect and delete virus it also gives u on gaurd protection better than mcaffe and other anti virus software. s spyware doctor will slow down ur system so use this anti virus only and u will not be suffered from any problems in future.
