I have received the same email for 3 weeks now - each day it comes from a different 'person'. There is no 'unsubscribe' link and all emails to them bounce back.

regardless of the type of storage used by your computer systems, why would you wnat to back it up? what are the different techniques for backing up storage? what are the disadvantages and advantages of each technique?

if you go up to tools and then internet options and press clear history can the administrator still access all the stuff you deleted... If the administrator can see it is there a way to fix it so the deleted history cannot be seen at all?

ok. so i asked this before: none of my media players work. i play my songs and they stay at 0:00 seconds. some one on yahoo answers told me to download a codec pack. i did but i have no idea what to do with it, and do not know how that is suppose to fix my media players.(help!)

and also, just today, i played some of my songs on vlc player. it didn't stay at 0:00 seconds but the little bar moved as its suppose to. however no sound came out. and no, there's nothing wrong with the speaker itself bc i can still play songs and videos on the internet.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

so anyways, please answer what are codecs and how do you use the codec pakcs?

To free up space and keep our internet running faster, I often delete internet files and searches to keep the internet running faster. (This actually works.) However, some of the searches on the drop-down search (When you type in something to the browser, a name of a site comes down below it) won't delete on my computer. I've deleted history, temp files, cookies, and AutoComplete many times but they won't go away. Anyone have any ideas?

Playing mpg:
ATI Player-no sound
MP10- error "At least one of the pins involved in operation is already connected"
MP Classic- can't d/l compressor, fails same as MP10
GSPOT "MPEG-1 Layer 2" codec is missing.
Experts only...no try this try that. Expect something in register is screwed. Codec is in quartz.dll which is on system and checked valid (same as on another computer that plays OK). GSPOT reports ac3filer.acm is missing but it's not missing (in system32). Problem happened about 4 months ago when updating ATI 9600 drivers (ATI is useless). Not sure how codecs as used/found. CODEC INSTALLER doesn't SPECIFICALLY show MPEG-1 Layer 2.

the dvd disc's i have are 4.7 GB dvd+r 120 mins.........when i record on my dvd recorder, i have an option to record>>>>
high quality= 120 mins,
sp= 160 mins
ep= 240 mins
so why can i record more hours of recordings,? or is the 120 mins on disc only for high quality recording?

everytime i watch a video off of the internet it is constantly pausing and playing pausing and playing. it's really annoying. do i need to download something to stop the problem?

I checked configuration on my computer and it says Swap files is disabled. I am not computer geek and not sure what this means.
What does it do?
Should it be enabled and how ?

I want to put a video onto my PSP and have found out that PSP only uses .MGV (the only bloody file type no one has heared of). I tryed to use Zam Zar (I usally use that for file conversions) but it dosnt support .MGV. I dont want to download software and dont want to pay either. Please help. Thanks.

I have a US keyboard, I changed the computer to British, which is fine. The # is now £ and " is @ and so on. But I need a backward slash whih now is #, I,ve tried all keys. When in CMD Ctrl and the backward slash produces a backward slash, but with a ^ as well and I get syntex is incorrect.

When just opening it and trying to delete it from there it says "cannot remove folder AUDIO_TS: the disk is write protected. Remove the write protection or use another disc." Well the audio ts is the file name but i don't know how to remove the write protection?

I am unfortunatley ignorant of the proper name of the knobs on some VGA cables, but here is a picture of what I am referring to: http://www.htcustomcables.com/images/vga_krystal.jpg

So far as I know they help reduce interference with the cable and I am not sure if it is siginficant enough to go out of my way to get a cable with them (currently I can only find a $24.99 cable [2 metres] without them, and a $49.99 cable with [6 metres]).

The computer is a Dell Inspiron 1150 running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service pack 2. Recently it was working fine however during its last use an IPOD was attached to it and while everything worked fine when the computer was later shut down and then turned on the next day the USB ports weren't working.
I have gone into the device manager and all the USB devices claim that they are working properly. I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers from the Dell website. I have also updated the BIOS. I even updated teh chipset drivers from the Dell website to no avail.
I have also run several of the Dell diagnostic tests and they claim that the USB ports are functioning normally.
I looked online and I have seen similar problems. Does anyone have a solution to this becuase the only other option that was presented to me was a suggestion of wiping the memory entirely and reinstalling the operating system. I would like that as a final resort.

it said that the folder was too big to be in the recycle bin.i deleted my song folder now my itunes cant locate it. i looked everywhere even the recycle bin. where is it????? help please???????????????????

I need to send her something, and since she doesn't live nearby I can't burn it on a CD. It'd be best if I could just upload it and have her download it. I have GMail as well, but idk if that would work.
