everytime i watch a video off of the internet it is constantly pausing and playing pausing and playing. it's really annoying. do i need to download something to stop the problem?

usually when u stream videos online it needs to buffer it. so depending upon your traffic speed it buffers. if u want to increase your browser speed u can find some codec or plug-ins which will utilize your network bandwidth to fullest.

Your Internet connection is too slow. You need a faster connection or pause the video and allow your media player to download the video.

That means that your Internet Connection is not fast enough to keep up with the Video Stream, the only fix is to get a faster connection. If you are using DSL you will have to get in touch with your carrier for a faster connection

Sounds like you need a faster internet connection. Otherwise let the file download completely and then play it. A larger buffer may help.

either pause and let it load or get a different video player
