When I open my computer, it goes to the starting screen and then it is normal. But after, when I use it for three minutes, the computer is jammed and closes what I was doing and goes to the screen: Windows is shuting down. I need help, I can't finish my important project. This problem just happened today and now I can't do anything on my computer now... Please HELP!

Okay, I want a new username for my youtube account, but I'm drawing a blank. Here is some info, can you create a cool, creative, but still 'normal' username, please.

I like music, I'm a movie buff, my favorite colors are red, purple, yellow, mint, ect.
I like vintage things, but I also like 60's mod.
I'm a good writer, and like to write too. I think I would like a username with something about this.

i downloaded some files and then i ended up deleting them, so im wondering if its somehow "saved" on the computer even tho i dont need them anymore. and if anyone can see what i downloaded. (it was a crappy essay)

I'm a little confused about DirectX 10. My new video card supports it and is "DirectX 10 Ready". But it seems like my computer is still using DirectX 9.

I was adding things to a very important word document and was saving it to my thumbdrive when it said that my thumbdrive was not connected. It was. Then it closed out and there is nothing on y thumb drive except a .tmp file. I have no idea what to do and I really really need this document, Help!!!

everyday there is less free disk space in my computer. I have tried using the disk clean up utility but it only free up liittle space, i also deleted programs that i dont use anymore. before i have 1GB free space, now i only have120MB! and it`s getting lesser everyday.. i dont have an anti virus installed, because it slowsdown my computer, so i deleted it..and i`m connected to the internet by LAN.. i`m using Windows XP..

If a program takes up 334 MB and your computer drive can hold up to 723,561,398,272 Bytes, is the 334 MB program really taking a large amount of space? I want to know because I had a coworker complain to me today that a program that I am using is HUGE and taking up a lot of space. Is he right or can I tell him to stop overreacting?

I have an old computer that I have not used for about four years.I am trying to use it now but I forgot the password to start it.When I connect,it prompts me to enter my password.I have tried all my passwords but none seems to be working.Someone told me to press F1 or F2 immediately the computer is startin to reset the password.

Hey guys my laptop has been having problems and recently when i turned it on it shows the gateway and then in the bottom right bios setting and boot menu, but then it goes to a black screen with a blicking cursor. I cannot type anything and none of the F keys will take me anywhere. Its just beeps. Now if i hit F2 right as i turn on the computer it takes me to a screen that says PhoenixBIOS Setup Utility, but it wants a password, but i dunno the password. And also if i hit F10 right as the computer is turning on it takes me to a boot emnu where the options are hard disk, CD ROM DVD ROM, boot to LAN, and removable device. none of these work and it just goes back to the black screen with a blinking cursor. I don't have a restore cd, but i'm going to borrow one off a friend, what do you guys think is my problem and do you think the cd will fix the problem, thanks.

copied pictures onto a cd-rw. After I checked to see if it all went well, put the disc back into the tray and clicked onto computer to run the disc, then all of a sudden the drive D just vanished. I'm running Vista. What the hell do I do now.

I have a Windows XP computer. A few days ago my mom put it so "sleep" by activating the "stand by" mode, the next morning when I went to turn it on, i pressed the button on the disc drive but it wouldn't work! The moniter light is on but the disc drive wont work. My dad says it might just have blown a fuse. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get it started again? Or what the problem might be?? Thanks :-(

it's sims2.com, and whenever i type in my username and password, it takes me back into the log in place. BUT, it does not, say it is invalid, or anything like that. i'm not sure, whats wrong. is it just too busy, to log me in. please help. i know, i typed it in right. i looked at the keyboard, to make sure. please help.
