If the To: portion of a received email says 'Undisclosed Recipient:;' What does that mean?

When you send an email, you can select the "BCC" option (Blind Carbon Copy), this will not show the names and emails of the recipients at the header of the email but will only show "Undisclosed Recipients" instead.
