everyday there is less free disk space in my computer. I have tried using the disk clean up utility but it only free up liittle space, i also deleted programs that i dont use anymore. before i have 1GB free space, now i only have120MB! and it`s getting lesser everyday.. i dont have an anti virus installed, because it slowsdown my computer, so i deleted it..and i`m connected to the internet by LAN.. i`m using Windows XP..

Get you a bigger hard drive, they're bloody cheap these days!

First off, it doesn't matter how you're connected to the internet, anti-virus is vital, even if it slows you down. I recommend using AVG Free AntiVirus. They have really good protection and you won't notice much of a performance difference, it's really light weight. http://free.grisoft.com. You can go and delete some programs you might not need any more, by going to:

Start-> Settings -> Control Panel
Click Add And Remove Programs

go from there, and remove old programs you don't need.

A disk defragment would help free up a little space and also speed up your computer.

Otherwise, just pick up a new Harddrive and attach it as a slave(secondary) and you can store music/pictures etc. on there.

You should run an anti-virus - - a virus could be causing your system to run slow.

Try a file compression program like WinZip to reduce your data file sizes.
