Its a 256 mb "Kingston Data Traveler. Is that what its called? You plugit in to yur USB and you can save data, pics, etc on it. Where can I go to find out how to use it properly and to th efullest capability?

Ok... so when I save something on it. It only should show up on the computer when it is plugged in right?

I tried putting music on it straight from Limewire but when I try to open up the music on the memory stick nothing happens

I saved a file from home and I tried opening it at work and it couldnt find it. What did I do wrong?

Assuming it shows up, simply plug it in and save files to it.

What m,ore is there to know.

HOWEVER, they are NOT designed for LONG TERM storage, so keep copies ona proper disc, and use it to take files you need when you go somewhere. I use my 4G thumbdrive when I visit places to take music files etc with me, have been known to travel with a 500G ext hard drive too sometimes.

I'll somme tell you. The devise is called a memory stick. The only capabilities it has is to save any kind of data as long as the capacity of the data is <= to the memory stick's. You can use it on any other device that allows USB inputs, like the car radios now,( you can save music files, even video files on it and play it in you car).
