I just did a virus scan on my computer and the follwoing files couldn't be opened:
hiberfil.sys,
pagefile.sys,
Windows\System32\drivers\sptd.sys,
Windows\System32\drivers\sptd2013.sys.
Or can I delete them?
I tried to install a new scanner, but was unsuccessful over several attempts. I'm wondering if these files have anything to do with it.

I've recently installed windows xp on my computer, I upgraded it from 98, But now it seems that 98 is still on my hard drive and i think my computer is at a conflict on what program to run. My question is how do i clean all the old 98 files and prgrams out of my computer without deleting windows xp?. When i turn the computer on now, it seems to take forever before i can do anything!..It's driving me nuts..somebody help me please!

yeah, so iv got the monitor plugged into the power outlet and my laptop. all connectiuons r secure and my laptop is running as usuall right now. when i try 2 turn on the monitor, the light turns green 4 a sec and then turns orange and sits there and does nothing. IDK how 2 get it workin. can u help me?

I recieved an attachement with an email form a work friend, when i try to open the attachment, i get the following message. To open this file windows needs to know what program created the file. It says look up manually or celect from a list of programmes in your computer, It gives you 2 options 1. search internet (its not doing anything when i do that) or search on computer. Help please!!!

I want to connect my new HP laptop to my tv and i have found i can do so through the external VGA or s video. Which is going to give me a better quality image? Which one would you recommend. I have been able to play dvds on WMP for a while, but suddenly, I can't. The dvd plays, but the screen is black and there is no sound. I have a dvd decoder, but the trial time has expired, could this be what the problem is?

what I need is either a) a way to fix this. b) a freeware dvd decoder. or c) a freeware dvd player.

I keep getting E-mails with the ongoing scam of someone being sick who lives in Africa or England (I've received both), and they need someone to give the money to for the betterment of human kind. Or they will say they work for a U.S. based company but live abroad and can't cash the money orders they get. So they would like me to cash them and they'll give me money to do so. I'm so sick of these scams. So here's what I've done. They usually can't spell and contruct a proper sentence, so I'm going to be their English "teacher". They will be required to study for the tests I will send them. And I will point out their grammer and spelling errors in brutal honesty. haha. Maybe they'll get sick of the game and leave me alone. How do you deal with these scams if and when you get them? Also, I've tried telling them to leave me alone and putting a block to their E-mails but it doesn't work because they just change
it a little so it will go through.
