It's a Wireless- G router, 2.4 GHZ. My internet works perfectly, but when I hook it up to my computer, it doesn't work. It still sends out a signal. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in a hundred times. Please help me!!!!! Let me know if you need more info...

I had my PC built about a year ago and I was recommended to have the HD partitioned in three. But the C drive is now full and I had to move bulky folders I had in "my Documents"like pics, music etc. to another partition which is a bit of a pain. So what's the use? And can I "un-partition" the HD now?

What will this formula do?? I need to enter a formula today (01/22/07) that will automatically update the date each day but won't include weekends. I don't understand formulas well. I want to be able to type one formula now and have it stay that way. For example, on Tuesday night, I print a schedule with Wednesday's date on it. On Friday night, I print a schedule with Mondays date.

PLEASE HELP!!

My Internet is running very slow, much slower than usual i had a problem before when the web page wasnt displaying at all now it comes up but takes quite a while. Dont know why its suddenly gone like this, i think its a combination between a virus that ive caught and that i just installed Mcafee, but i might be wrong.

I have done disk cleanup and deleted all temporary files and cookies.

Does that phising filtering slow down the internet at all?

Any ideas what the problem is and how i can speed my internet up?

I have just re-installed Windows XP on my computer. I found that not only has my Volume Control disappeared from my quick launch menu, but also when I try to play music/a video an error message is displayed saying that no audio hardware is available or it is not responding. However my speakers are plugged in and everything, so it's very confusing. PLEASE someone help me!

My computer is randomly restarting and the internet is randomly cutting off. I have cable internet, and a Windows XP home edition computer. Our computer has been restarting for about a week and the internet shutting off for about three or four days. We have left it on usually all the time for the four or five years we have had it but it has never done anything like this. We have tried turning it off when we're not using it and it has helped but it still restarts. The time range from restart to the next restart has been from 15 mins. to 3 hrs. but usually around 45 mins. to 1 hr. The # of programs we have used have been from 1 prgm. to 5 or 6. We have attempted to also do a system restore, but it has said that we've changed nothing to the computer. I've searched everything I know to search and tried everything and I can't find nothing. We've done a full virus scan about 3 times and still cannot find anything. It is really getting frustrating so please respond A.S.A.P. Thank You!

I just started studying for the A+ cetification. However, I can't seem to find many books for the 2006 version...and those that I can find cost a lot of money.

I already have a couple of 2003 books (purchased about 3-4 months ago).

Most 2006 books don't come out for at least another 2-3 months!

Should I just study what I've got now and go for the 2003 version (which is going to be retired in about 6 months)? I'm looking for a new job, so I'd ideally like to complete this in the next month or two (I have a reasonable amount of PC knowledge already).

I'm not sure if employers look for certification dates or if they just want to see that you are certified. I'd much rather complete this now instead of waiting 5-6 months for the 2006 books to be published.

Any help?

Someone had altered a ton of settings on my computer a few months back... now its becoming a major issue.
My BIOS isn't saving any settings...
all it does when I go through F10 is give me a black screen and a cute little graphic in the corner. I've tried everything I can think of, short of reseting to factory defaults, flashing it, upgrading and reformating my computer.

All of which I dont' know how to do.

I don't have any money to replace parts, nor a way to get it...
help?
