okay, i got a email with a file attached, i could not download it please see question computer help!!!! i emailed it to a friend who opened the attachment no problem. what it my computers problem please please help

Could be something as simple as a pop up blocker, or 'Allow Sender'.

if it has a paperclip symbol click on that ,if its sent to yahoo try scrolling to bottom of the email sometimes it has the attachment there and something to click it open.
ok read your last question you have to find out the properties of the email attachment if its excel for example sometimes you get attachments made from programs that your computer doesnt have say for example its excel you go to search on yahoo or google and look for excel viewer (this can be found on the microsoft site) and it will let you veiw excel files if the friend you sent it to is good on computers even ask if they can find out what the file is .although the file sent to you should say the name and then a . (dot) then after that it should have something which means what it is infact forward it to my address jill2006_g@yahoo.co.uk ill tell you and send you an address to get the program you need to view it

Depends what format the file is in. Check that and see if you have that application installed. If not then install it and next time you open the attachment everything should be fine.
