Download the Belarc Advisor program here: http://belarc.com/free_download.html
When you run it, it gives you a snapshot of all of your computer hardware and software and it also shows the license keys for the software.
I use it when trouble shooting friends computers...
Works great.

It isn't properly worth something till you provide the CD with the significant. Are you legally allowed to resell living house windows XP living house? in the experience that your reproduction is marked “no longer for Resale” (in many situations copies that got here with hardware alongside with laptops), you're no longer allowed to resell those copies of XP. in the experience that your reproduction isn't marked with this (in many situations XP living house Retail version) you're allowed to sell your reproduction of living house windows XP, even though it is your accountability to be sure that the customer is of the same opinion to all the regulations interior the EULA. The exception is that in case you asked bill Gates :P The decal won't artwork without the specefic XP CD or your laptop

I have a program that not only supplies the CD key you installed it with, it also gives you the option to change it. Same with the name you gave your computer.
Email me your email address and I can send it to you as an attachment.
That should be good for 1 points... ;-)

Unfortuneately, if you've lost the activation key you will not be able to get another one for free...unless you have proof of purchase in all ways, shapes and forms and you have an extremely kind computer guy, you might need to purchase another copy.

i am 99% sure that you can't do that. you can call microsoft and give them your mac address(click start->run, type cmd and then type ipconfig/all) and they should be able to tell you what your license key is or if you got the pc from some store where windows was already on it, they might be able to tell you too. good luck!
