To insert spanish characters in word, go to Insert>Symbol in the menu bar, then select the symbol you want. Notice that once you have selected the right symbol, you can also define a keyboard shortcut for it.
Otherwise, if you write in spanish a lot, you may want to get a spanish keyboard. :)

Spanish spell check. It'll autofix most of it, then u do the ctrl+functions if u forget anything.

You can get a Microsoft Language Pack that is Spanish. It may be easy to use.

Yes there is...it's called encoding. Default on US sold versions of Winblows is Unicode (UTF-8)
Check for available encoding, if it's not there, you'll have to find it on your disc or online. I haven't checked "my" disc to see if it's available.
