I'm having a new pc and want to move my favourites to a folder so that I can save them to disk. How do I do this please?

From I.E.,
file -> import and export -> export
export your favorites to a file
transfer to your new computer
file -> import and export -> import file

My Computer
Double Click on C:\
Documents And Settings
Double Click on your profile
Copy the 'Favorites' Folder to a disk

All you have to do is click on Favorites at the top. Then right click somewhere on the list. You will get a option to Send To. Choose what drive you are putting you disk in.

There are many good books on PCs available through your local public library which will answer many of your questions better than anybody on the Internet. Personally, I like The Complete Idiot's Guides and The Dummies Guides.
