My computer is relatively new (1yr old) but when on someone's website and you click to email them the email will not send. It comes up 'Server Yahoo cannot be found' etc. Obviously there is something I have to do that I don't know about. Can anyone help. It would be appreciated

Under IE : Tools--- Internet Options--- go to Programs, and choose your email client, so it is activated for selection properly

I think the problem is that you probably aren't using a front-end email client to manage your mail such as Outlook or Outlook express.
In Internet explorer options, you can specify which email program you're using, so that when you click on an email link it will open up an email pre-addressed to that person or organization.
An alternative is to highlight the email link, right-click and then select "properties." Then, copy and paste the email address into your Yahoo or other web-based email TO: field
