well for my expierement im testing whch type of lightbulb will work best for a plant, an eddison light bulb, a blacklight, and a everclear. i hav been researching and i hav found that the blacklight will work the worst but in my expierement the blacklight works the best. why?

I know that Apple is releasing the AppleTV sometimes next month, but as far as I know, it runs off Quicktime/iTunes...which means that there is no (easy) way to switch language tracks.
I have a lot of movies and TV shows on my computer (I'm running OS X) and I'd love to be able to watch them on my TV, rather than on my monitor.
I'm also not interested in something like Windows Media Center PCs, as that is too complicated for what I want to do. I'm looking for something simple and requires minimal effort to access.
I've seen things like Slingbox but, near as I can tell, that does the opposite of what I want.

Aside from AppleTV, are there any devices out there that enable me to send media from my computer's hard drive to be viewed on my screen?

my cd burner is broke ahh!! please help.. heres the situation.. i use itunes to burn cd.. but recently when i put a cd in and click burn disc all the cd does is make weird noises in the CPU and itunes says checking media and it eventuall freezes itunes.. then it stops and nothing has been burned. i really need it fixed.. it is an internal cd burner that came with the computer.

So I can't download java because it says there is not enough disk space to install it. There is plenty of disk space. I have tried disk cleanup and defragmenting and it shows there is plenty of space. Can anyone help?

when multiple computers are in the same room the one with lower speed can download much bigger thing in just a few minutes.

So I downloaded a video files compressed into a "rar" file so I decompressed it to get the playable video file, the problem is that, while the audio works fine the video is hardly working, with green squares and a very slow framerate, is there a way to make it so that the file is easier for the computer to use, could I extract the file even more to make it easier for the computer to understand?

and therefore I can do anything with my laptop because all it does is show my desktop background. My toolbars or shortcuts dont appear as well. It is a Compaq and Windows XP.

Does anyone know what is wrong with it and how I can fix it/ re-install shdocvw.dll? I'll appreciate all answers please and I'm not really good with technical terms.

all the the buttons that change your paper to centered, left and righ justified, bold, underline, italic, and all those other buttons on the top are gone. how can i get them back??? thanks
