After the movie begins playing, take out your camera and freely begin to take pictures of anything you want. Be careful, however, because photography is prohibited in some places (art museums, strip clubs, etc).
If you want to capture a picture of your screen, hit the Prt Scrn button. THat will save a picture of your screen to the clipboard. Then open any photo editing software and paste.

When you want the pic, press the "print screen" key that's up there on the top of your keyboard. You won't see any indication that anything has happened but your entire desktop is now on your clipboard. If you open up any photo editing program, go to the "edit" menu and click "paste as new" or something similar. You will see a picture of your entire desktop, so use the cropping function of your photo program to crop it down to just the area you want.
