can i install my games that were compatible with windows XP on a windows vista laptop?

some of my games requirements include a windows XP OS, but it says nothing about w vista. could i still install my games?

I believe you can. Generally, games are backwards compatible. I've installed some Windows 95 stuff on my XP, so there's no reason why it shouldn't work.

Most of them should work. If they don't, it is most likely a driver issue. The ATI and NVidia Vista drivers aren't yet complete. Check the website of your card's manufacturer often for updates that may fix the problems you encounter in your games.

It also depends if you're using a 32-bit or a 64-bit processor, but i'm sure there will be backwards functionality.
