Is there a company who can provide faster internet?

Looking for more than 8 mbps or faster. I notice In london (UK) fthey provide that fast spped there. Open 2 ur opinions and answers!

In the US we use Bell South at work and have a 10 meg pipe that can be moved up to 50 meg with a phone call and extra cost. We also pay $5000 a month for it.

I'm assuming that you live in USA.
Verizon offers 30Mbps for 180$/month.
