Hi,
I won't jump on the "aol is crap" bandwagon. AOL provides exactly the same core networks as any other ISP in the UK.
I presume your on broadband. Sounds like you are losing sync to the exchange. When your internet drops are you using the AOL client or just internet explorer. What model of modem/router are you using. Once I have this info I can tell you what to look for.

Hi. No problems here in the London area, I have just signed out from AOL after about 2 hrs. Have you checked your connections to and from your modem and to your PC, sometimes the cables can come loose (with a little help from the mess-up Fairy
Good Luck

AOL is a problem mate, change your service provider...
shop around, there's some good ones out there, I use BT, although it's quite expensive, but i have to finish the years contract before i change - you won't have that problem, if they aren't providing you with a satisfactory service, you can opt out...
I've seen some really good deals, the best one being "bethere," I don't know if they're any good, but 24Mbps? at £24 per month? I'll be giving it a try when my bt contract finishes
shop around, read some customer reviews (not on the site of the company you're looking at though!)
use google... it's the best search engine in my opinion

bypass on your economic corporation/progression society with £10 and open a clean account.provide the recent determination on your wages branch and also you'd be issued with new playing cards etc move all status orders a minimum of those you go with to pay this can be somewhat complicated for an afternoon or 2 yet there is continually the probability that its no longer AOL. and evidently move any money even if you cant get entry to them for a week you do a minimum of save it stay fortunate

I have had AOL now for years and never had any
problems.
Your network and/or computer must be the problem.
