Its normally above the number 3 on your keyboard so just use the arrow to the left hand side above the ctrl key and press the 3 at the same time and you should get £. there is no possible way to type a pound sign.

hold the shift key down on the keyboard it may say shift or it may be an arrow and at the sa time press the number 3 key. Bingo! ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££
