i just bought a computer from a friend, she had it completely cleaned out , there was nothing but a my documents folder, recycle bin, and my computer folder on it, so i bought it to go online , thinking i could put some virus protection on it because i had bought the new Norton for my old pute....well, uh, i cant find the disc now so i cant put it on new/used computer...i really hate to go buy another...is there a cheaper way - like just download from a website and pay (as little as possible) with a debit card...safely and cheaply is what i need...any advise?

I went to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Restricted Sites and added it on there, but I can still access it.

I want to block the website in its entirety so my siblings can't access it and spend hours on my computer wasting time.

When I turn on my computer my computer stops on the Intel screen. It only shows Bios Set-up. After a minute or so the computer starts up. I have no idea what would be causing this. Any info will help.

Anyone any idea what this means. It comes up everytime I start my laptop. As far as I can tell it is not affecting the way the computer runs, or at least not on any programs I use. It is running windows XP. I click OK and the computer continues to load as normal.
