In windowsXP u will be having a default version of 6. If u have installed Internet Explorer edition 7 and wanna remove it and revert back to version 6 then simply go to ADD and REMOVE programs and uninstall Internet Explorer 7.

If u dont find Internet Explorer 7 just check show all updates on the top of Add & Remove programs window. Generally Internet Explorer 7 is found in UPDATES rather in software installations.

Here is the navigation that can be used to remove the upgrade. START ---> SETTINGS ---> CONTROL PANEL ---> ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Select Internet Explorer 7.0 then click on remove. When done, previous version of Internet Explorer will be restored.

well, this depends when you installed it! If it was VERY recent, say the last day or two, then use System Restore to roll back to the old IE u had. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Use the calendar in there to find out when u installed the new IE, then select the day b4 that and start system restore!
