You need to goto the router config to do that, not to a web site.

Open your browser band in the address bar type 192.168.0.1
That should take you to the configuration settings for your router.

Gateway.2wire.net goes to the same place as the home portal does. Try this:
1.) Open up an internet explorer window
2.) Type in the address bar "homeportal" exactly, without the """
It should get you to your system's summary.

Another way to solve this problem is by going to the Start menu. If you're using Windows XP, there should be a button that says "Run", and when that little window pops up, type "cmd", and a black screen should come up. Type "ipconfig" and you should see a list of things, including one called "Default Gateway" followed by a lot of dots and numbers e.g. xxx.xxx.x.xxx. Anyway, type those numbers and the dots into an internet explorer window, and you should get to where the gateway.2wire.net website and the "homeportal" both go. If all else fails, you can always contact customer service for gateway. The number's on your SBC Global bill.
