Yahoo is not going to charge you with anything, they just want your credit card to make sure that you have your permission as a parent, since you were creating an account for a minor?......... Yahoo asks you to give your credit card number if you are a minor making a new account..they do this for the security of the minor
its like yahoo saying.
"Go get mummy or daddy to see what you are doing" the actual input of the card numbers tells yahoo yes an adult/guardian does know what is going on Yahoo say they charge $1 but no charge ever goes through its a SECURITY MECHANISM set in place so kids cant make accounts without their parents knowing. You cannot make a juvenile account on Yahoo without giving this Credit Card info
And there is stored value.your input of Credit Card numbers were NOT correct or your card was invalid.

Then that is not the right site yahoo messanger would not ask for a credit card unless you are doing the pc to pc and i don't think that is what you are trying is it? well you might wanna just double check what exactly you are downloading first. Good Luck!
