I was playing a video clip of her in Windows media player and now it won't play sound on the video. I restarted it and it still plays the ding ding ding ding sound when it boots up but no sound to the videos. Please help!
I have windoes xp and my computer is a gateway if that matters.

herm - Thanks for replying. I right clicked on speakers and nothing is muted. Any other ideas?

Did you by any chance has the multimedia keyboard that control the speakers and volume ?? If yes you may need a new keyboard. You can also try to shutdown your PC, diconnect the keyboard and reconnect it back and reboot the pc to see if it works.

try right clicking on the speaker located in the lower right hand corner and check to see if it got muted during the fall
