You probably want to change your icon size to large icons. to do this right click on the task bar, click properties, click on the start menu tab, click the customize button and click on the large desktop icons options....

I would recommend trying high contrast on your display. To accomplish this launch your “Control Panel” from the “Start” menu. Now click the “Accessibility Options” icon, it will open the folder with another “Accessibility Options” icon to click. Next click the “Display” tab, and check “Use High Contrast”. On the right is a “Settings” button click it, now choose a scheme such as “High Contrast White (large)”. If you want even bigger choose (extra large). Hit the “OK” button, which will take you back to the previous screen just hit “OK” once more. Those are Windows XP instructions, I assumed that is your operating system. Hope that helps!

You can change your icon size, if thats what your talking about. Of course, thats not everything. It won't affect the way things look in games or other applications.

It could be that you haven't correctly attuned your monitor. Try pressing the "auto" button on the front.

You may have to bite the bullet and change your screen resolution though.
