I didn't put any password to my computer. but today when i switch it on, the computer ask me to log on as admin. i don't know how to do since i hadn't put any password! i can't log on now and i don't have back ups for my data inside. Please help!!! If really cannot log on, does anybody know how to delete and reinstall the window without logging on?

In the past, I could just right click on the shortcut of the program, and there would be an option that would say "scan program." But now, that option has disappeared. Can someone tell me what to do, maybe to restore that option when I right-click it, or perphaps to manually scan a program for a virus.

How to have folders open in list view instead of thumbnails by default?

Everytime I open a folder I need to go to

view>list

I checked into cpanel under folder options but haven't found an a way to have folders open in list view by default...

I run Windows XP

Any ideas?

My computer gets pop ups out of nowhere, and like music starts playing but there's no way to shut them off, and my computer is really slow.
So
1. How can I Fix this?
2. Whats A Good Virus Scanner that isn't a virus itself?

I used to have this font on my computer, god knows where it went to but it's not there any more (Yes I checked!) - since my daughter uses this pc, files often miraculously disappear.

I'd be really grateful if someone who has the file could mail it to me (link in my profile). The font file will be called something like "COMPACTA.TTF" in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder. If you have more than one type of the same font I'd be double grateful.

Nice easy way to earn yourself a best answer 10 points, and help me save having to spend out more than £20 for one lousy font. Oh by the way it has to be Compacta, not any other similar ones.
