Sounds like windows explorer is crashing. Try doing windows updates, there was a doozie a while back that all 20 PC users at my work had a bad patch, and the entire world had the crashing PC. MS ID'd it and released a good patch a week later. Try firefox. A tad slower, but in my experience, I crash far less often. I know it won't work on a lot of web sites, and needs lots of plug ins,...oh well.

Well I think your computer has a big error. Either it can't read the format of something, the websites buggy, or ask your computer manafacturer or ISP because it shouldnt do that. Still sending a report helps Microsoft or whoever solver teh problem but it wont really help you. Good luck with that. :)

Defrag your drive, put it through a couple of safe mode starts (F8) and clean out your temp folder
That's C:\documents and settings\yournamefolder\Local settings\temp (including the folders under the temp folder)
