I saw it at Wal-Mart. The kit contains 2 web cams and two head sets and the software to install. The price of the kit is approx. $30. I have never used this equipment and wanted to find a good deal for my boyfriend and I to communicate with - we are in a long distance relationship. We use the YAHOO! Instant Messenger. Please help with opinions and/or suggestions.

Is there a way to find out if someone has read an email without requesting a receipt? I have heard there is a 'tag' that can be attached but this may only be for newletters sent from the server (?)

I have 2 kids in the military, so I don't get to see them much, they each have children, and I would like to see my grandchildren, and have them see me too, just to say hello,I am missing out on so much of their lives.(my kids have computers/internet).They sell web cams in the walmart here where I live, one brand has 2 in a pack....does anyone know if this is possible for me to do, and/or what kind of product to buy, and/or how to do it? I would so greatly appreciate the help!!!!!

Everytime I turn my computer on it pauses on the black screen with the message: "Secondary slave hard disk fail." I then have to press F1 for my computer to continue starting up. Once fully turned on, there is an error message stating that "The system has recovered from a serious error" (even though the computer was properly shut down previously) and once I send the error report it comes back as inconclusive, simply telling me that my computer had a problem... which obviously doesn't help me.

Sorry if I am rambling. I have since re-installed Windows hoping this would solve the problem. Our computer is still running slower than it used to and the "secondary slave hard disk" problem persists.

This is a desktop computer with:
Windows XP version 2002
1.83 GHz
512 MB of RAM

Thanks for anyone willing to help.

This sucks! I own a '98 Chrysler Sebring with the factory system in it(pretty decent, with infinity speakers....), and I can't get my burned CDs to play. The few my friend gave me play fine, but I don't know why my mixed masterpieces won't play! I am using mp3 formats from LimeWire(she did too), and basic CD-R's (Maxwell brand, not sure what she used, no label...), and windows media player to burn them. Anyone out there have any suggestions? I'm kinda computer savvy, but not really. Ha! Help if you can, and thanks!

I've used programs like Napster and Limewire before, but Limewire crashed my computer and I had to start from scratch. I'm hesitant to use similar programs because I don't want to inadvertantly download another virus. Is there a "safe," free way to download music? Can I download a music file from a program like Limewire and scan it first with virus detection software before it runs on my computer? Thanks for all the help!

From two earlier questions today (Sunday, November 26, 2006) re whether one can change/delete information on a CD recording..

The other party put the conversation between the two of us on a CD using another computer of course. Now, how did he record our conversation to make the CD? Did he have a special program or softwear that allowed him to record our conversation in order to make the CD?
Did he tape it first perhaps allowing him to make changes before he:burned" it?
After he made it he sent it to me the following day.
(I hope I made the question clear enough.)
and thank you all once again.

Here are my other two questions that were answered earlier. I am sorry I just don't know too much about CD's but I am learning. I appreciate everyone's help.
Thank you.

lst Question
"How easy or difficult it would be to alter/change/delete info on a CD recording of a verbal conversation?...
that lasted nearly an hour?"

2nd Question:
"What exactly does "burning" a CD mean?

I've tried going into Control Panel, and then into Sounds and Audio Devices. All it says is that there is no Audio device, and does not give me an option to click on anything. My speakers are plugged in and have power. They were working fine a couple of hours ago. I had a problem with the computer while loading a program, and had to shut down several times. Now, I get no sound no matter what I do.

Ok so i have pretty much built the computer back from scratch. I kept the orginal motherboard that was in the computer and the orginal processor. Not sure what the motherboard is but its an AMD processor. I put new PCI cards, Ram, and a new Harddrive. when i went to install XP it starts like its going to install then says checking your system configurations or Checking your system settings...and then just sits there..forever... i have waited for 2 hours thinking maybe its just checking everything but i doubt it..any help...This isnt my first computer build so i know everything is connected right. im wondering if maybe the motherboard is fried or processor is fried.

I mean, seriously? Some of the things you all ask are found quickly and easily with a search engine. Why do you go through all the trouble of posting such questions here?
